My name is Anessa and there’s nothing in this world that brings me more joy than creating. I’ve been drawing since before I was even able to speak fully and it’s always been my dream to do what I’m doing now.

I’ve been using the name Artsy Gremlin for my work since I was 15 years old and since then, my style has seen many evolutions. I try hard to never place any limits of myself creatively and let my intuition lead the way.

Tattooing has introduced me into a world of artistry that feels a lot like boot camp but never fails to bring me new growth in all areas of my life. Every procedure is very intimate for me because art has been my one safe space to be fully myself. It is truly the greatest gift of my life to be able to share that authenticity with you all and have it be appreciated in ways 10 year old Anessa never could’ve imagined.

Outside of being artsy, people that love me know me for secretly being a comic book dweeb and my massive DVD collection. My favorite shows are Adventure Time, Breaking Bad, and New Girl. I still have the same PS2 I had when I was 7 and that is a large part of my personality.

The impact you all have had on me in the decade I’ve had this app is so intense for me it brings me to tears on a regular basis. Thank you for being here 10 years ago and thank you for being here now.
